We are a Tampabay area (Brandon) club that is sanctioned by North
American Model Boaters Association, refered to as NAMBA. We are
pleased to sponsor several NAMBA sanctioned races during the racing
season - ALL year. The club provides access to the pond on most
weekends to club members and their guests. We hope you will come aboard
and visit us for an exciting day of radio control model boat racing or
just observing.
The Brandon Model Boaters, Inc.
is dedicated to providing wholesome recreational activity that the
whole family can enjoy. Our facility provides all the amenities to
enjoy the sport of model boating. We are located at 2821 Gallagher Road. Dover, Fl inside Dover
District Park.
Becoming a club member is easy. Just
give us an e-mail and we will contact you. A yearly Brandon Model
Boaters, Inc. membership is $20.00. This includes year-round use of the
club site, use of our chase boat, helpful contact with other club
members, and club race eligibility. For the new model boater, other
members can be invaluable in getting started. In conjunction with your
membership with the Brandon Model Boaters, Inc., Model Boaters need to
become members of the North American Model Boaters Association (NAMBA). This
organization can provide many services to the model boating enthusiast,
including the required model boaters insurance to cover mishaps or
accidents. A yearly membership to NAMBA is $45.00.
