ComeONdown

The BMBI club will host the next WCRA race at its home pond located in Dover, Florida. This will be a much anticipated race since so many District III races were cancelled this year.

Entry forms for the race are located at the right. Use the new On-Line Race Sign-Up for quicker and easier registration. Save a stamp and envelope. Make sure your registration doesn't get lost.

Registration electronic-signup form is available at the right under "on-line website" link for this D3 and the WCRA races.

You can also check on who has already signed up and for which classes. They say that it is good to know your competition.

This is an excellent race sign-up/planning tool.. It is available to any club - anywhere!

Note:
Our member's List has just grown. Let's all welcome these fine folks aboard and look for them at the next boating outing.

UPDATE 06.21.2009
Mid-Year Dinner Meeting!!!
Ask and ye shall receive!! Our President
, Don R, did hold the dinner meeting as proded. There was a very small turnout but that enabled the attendees to make "race assignments" as desired. Dinner was excellent, I had the lasagna for the first time - highly recommended, and we were served quickly.

Numerous race and club management items were discussed and Ed K had feeback from the last D3 race meeting. It was very interesting.

There will be a small work detail requested for this Saturday, June 27 for around 9:00 a.m. Those that can help with some minor cleanup are asked to do so. I will be there with my limited self. Open water will be available after 12:00 and Don reports that the FISH problem is cleared up. New members are welcome to join in as well as the old crotchity ones.

WHO WANTS TO BE THE NEXT DISTRICT III DIRECTOR?.

W.C.R.A. Race # 2
Race # 2 was completed as of March 29. It was sponsored by the Tampabay Model Boaters Club and held at their new pond. The race site facilities were near complete and excellent to use. The new driver's stand is wide and has GR8 open access. There were 143 entries in spite of the rainy day but the rain delayed the event activities. Additionally, a race-clock failure caused delays so that the racing finally completed at 8:00 P.M. "Check the little RED light, TMBC".
Jay Halbrender started a new class of racing??? Lost Submariners!!
